I can't hear anything when I record my own voice

Remember to hold down the red record button when recording your own voice. You will see a red 'recording' light flashing while BookBot is listening to you. If you're holding down the record button and it's still not recording please contact us so we can help sort it out for you.

 

Can I change how BookBot reads punctuation?

Absolutely! Just use the Settings App on your device and tap BookBot or BookBot Lite. You can turn the reading of punctuation off all together, or change how BookBot reads Exclamation Marks, Commas, Full stops and Question marks.

Can I hide the 'Buy Full Version' button in BookBot Lite?

Yes you can! Just use the Settings App on your device, tap StoryBot Lite and the switch the 'Show Buy BookBot' button to off.

I turned off BookBot's Voice Settings, how do I turn it back on?

You can turn the Voice Settings button on and off by using your device's Settings App. Tap Settings, then choose BookBot and turn 'Show Voice Settings' on. Voice Settings are only available in the full version of BookBot.
